Rights? Square?</p> <p>In 2019, the Kiel City Council decided to find a central square related to children and name it &ldquo;Platz der Kinderrechte&rdquo; (Square of Children&rsquo;s Rights). The Asmus-Bremer-Platz was temporarily given this name until a new square was found. The reasoning was solely: because other cities had done the same. Now, the most inhospitable square in all of Kiel was chosen, where no one lived yet.
